Starting from the Schillerstraße you reach the nature with meadows, woods and mountains in approx. 2 minutes by foot and in approx. 7 minutes the historical city centre of Markdorf with good traffic connections and varied shopping facilities and gastronomy offerings. The weekly market in the old town is also a very special, each Thursday morning.
In just a few minutes you can reach Lake Constance and the popular excursion destinations Überlingen, Meersburg, the town of zeppelin “Friedrichshafen”, as well as Sea Life Constance, the Spieleland Ravensburg and the UNESCO world cultural heritage site “Pfahlbauten" in Uhldingen by car.
